Clients Seen

Jessica Loya is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Clinical Supervisor at Mosaic Wholeness Center, serving clients in both English and Spanish. Born and raised in Mexico, Jessica brings a multicultural perspective to her work and a genuine curiosity about the experiences that shape people. She has worked alongside clients in hospitals, schools, community centers, and private practice on both sides of the border, and this reflects in how naturally she meets people wherever they are in life.

Who She Helps

Jessica works with teens, adults, and couples who want to better understand themselves, heal from past experiences, and create meaningful change in their lives. She especially enjoys working with clients who may feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, struggle with self-worth or identity, or find themselves repeating relational dynamics they don’t fully understand.

She specializes in working with:

  • Individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and the effects of difficult life experiences
  • Clients working through complex trauma, family-of-origin wounds, and relational experiences
  • Individuals struggling with self-worth, identity, boundaries, and self-trust
  • People navigating major life transitions, cultural experiences, and questions of belonging
  • Individuals working through relationship and communication difficulties
  • Couples seeking to better understand their relational patterns and strengthen their emotional connection
  • Clients who want to move beyond simply coping and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their potential

Jessica offers in-person sessions at our Rolling Meadows office and telehealth sessions across Illinois.

How She Works

Jessica’s approach is psychodynamic, trauma-focused, and collaborative. She believes that understanding where our thoughts, emotions, and patterns come from can help us make sense of the way we experience the present.

Her style is warm and supportive, but also direct. Jessica believes therapy should be a space for validation and safety, while also being a place where clients can be gently challenged to examine beliefs and patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Sessions may sometimes feel uncomfortable or challenging, but she sees that discomfort as an important part of meaningful growth.

Rather than telling clients who they should be or what decisions they should make, Jessica works alongside them to develop greater self-awareness, emotional insight, and trust in their own judgment. Her ultimate goal is to guide clients in healing from experiences that have shaped them, reconnecting with themselves, and developing the confidence to trust themselves long after therapy ends.

Why This Work

Jessica became a psychotherapist because of her fascination with the human mind and the many ways people can experience the same situation differently. She is particularly interested in how our experiences shape the way we think, feel, behave, and relate to others.

At the same time, Jessica believes that our past does not have to determine our future. The mind is adaptable, and people have an incredible capacity to grow and change. This is what makes therapy so meaningful to her: witnessing clients understand themselves in new ways, heal from experiences that have impacted them, and recognize that they have more possibilities than they may have initially believed.

Jessica sees therapy as an opportunity to explore your story, reconnect with your authentic self, and understand how your experiences have shaped the person you are today. For her, therapy is not about becoming someone else—it is about becoming more connected to yourself.
